Salary and Benefits
The St. Louis metropolitan area offers a wide variety of cultural and recreational opportunities, and because Memorial Hospital campuses sit just minutes from the area’s major highways (I-270 and I-64), you will be 20-25 minutes from almost everything. In addition to close proximity to a rural and large metropolitan area, Memorial Hospital also offers the following salary and benefits for the pharmacy residency program.
Salary
PGY1 Residents: $50,000
Benefits
Health and Dental Insurance
Residents are eligible for enrollment in BJC group health insurance. Coverage starts after the first 30 days of employment.
Life Insurance
BJC provides term life insurance at one times the annual salary at no cost to the resident.
Educational Leave
Up to seven days will be authorized for travel to meetings.
Paid Time Off
Twenty-three days of paid time off (Paid Time Off or PTO) are provided. These days are used for holidays, vacation days, interview days and personal illness.
Holidays
The 6 annual holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Holiday service coverage is determined between resident and preceptor. Each resident will be scheduled to work two holidays. PTO hours are used for the remaining holidays.
